REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST AND PROPOSALS TO SUPPLY GOODS AND SERVICES FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 1ST APRIL 2021 TO 31ST MARCH 2022
1. PURPOSE
To obtain expressions of interest and company profiles from companies interested in conducting business with the SADC Parliamentary Forum in respect of supplying of goods and services to be procured during the Financial Year 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022.
2. LIST OF GOODS AND SERVICES REQUIRED
The requirements of the SADC Parliamentary Forum for the 2021/2022 Financial Year are, but not limited to, the following:

• Cleaning Services and Supplies
• Computer equipment, supplies and accessories
• Computerised Accounting and Payroll Packages
• Consultancy services in the following specialized areas:
- Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources
- Trade, Industry Finance & Investment
- Democratisation, Governance & Human Rights
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
- Gender, Women and Youth
- Parliamentary Business and Training
- ICTs
- Accounting and Finance
- Human Resources
• Design and Layout
• Fire Equipment & Training
• Gardening Services / Pool Maintenance
• Hospitality (Accommodation, Event Venues and Catering)
• Interpretation Equipment
• Interpretation and Translation Services
• Office Furniture and equipment
• Office Refreshments
• Pest Control
• Plumbing Services, Electrical Services, general Repairs and Maintenance
• Printing Services
• Promotional items
• Security services and rapid response
• Security System (access control)-Supply and servicing

3. MANDATORY DOCUMENTATION
The documents outlined below are mandatory in order to be eligible to participate in the provision of goods and services:

• A valid Company Registration Certificate
• Certificate/Documentation on Good Standing
• Tax Certificate
3.2. Individual Consultants/Experts
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae
• References for work done and good standing
4. GOODS AND SERVICES LISTED ON COMPANY REGISTRATION
Kindly take note, that, companies expected to submit company profiles are those that have the abovementioned goods and services listed on their company registration document.
5. DISCLAIMER
While the SADC Parliamentary Forum is an equal opportunity organization, it reserves the right not to proceed with the hire of services notwithstanding this published request for suppliers and has the right to:
• reject any or all company profiles if conditions are not adhered to;
• Remove non-performing suppliers from the list;
• Conduct a background check on a supplier;
• Request clarification at the time of evaluating company profiles;
• For Security reasons, some services may require vetting.
