THE SADC-PF SRHR, HIV AND AIDS GOVERNANCE PROJECT (2019-2023) END OF TERM REVIEW Multi-stakeholder Validation Meeting

Background

This meeting will be attended by Members of Parliament, representatives of Parliament, Civil Society Organisations and SRHR Researchers to validate initial findings of the review of the SADC-PF SRHR, HIV and AIDS Governance Project (2019-2023). The review is currently being conducted by Development Data who have been contracted by the SADC Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF).

SADC PF is implementing the regional SRHR project with the overall objective of promoting access to SRHR in Southern Africa within the universal health coverage context. The project is implemented in collaboration with 10 SADC National Parliaments, Members of Parliament (MPs), SRHR Researchers, SADC PF Desk Officers, Line Ministries, and partners including Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). Project implementation commenced in 2019 and is set to end on the 31st of March 2023, hence the commissioning of the ETR.

At the meeting, Development Data consultants will present a draft report of initial findings from the review. Stakeholders attending the meeting should be those who were active in the project and will be asked to validate the findings from the review. Stakeholders are, therefore, requested to send knowledgeable participants to this consultative meeting. The consultations will culminate in a revised report of findings.
