-Director, InfoPlus Seychelles, (since 2008) (Research and Language services)

1991 – 2009: Managing Editor, Regar Weekly newspaper

1983 – 1991 : Language and Training Consultant Primarily engaged in managing language and
cross-cultural training for US Peace Corps in Seychelles, Yemen and the Comoros and for Swedish Volunteer Service in Seychelles and Sweden

1980-1983 : Administration Manager, Travel Services Ltd, (Tourism Operators)

1977-1979 : English Language Curriculum Development, Ministry of Education (Seychelles Govt)

POLITICAL INVOLVEMENT

1979 – 1991 Active in the underground opposition to one party rule

1991 Founder member and Executive Committee Member of Parti Seselwa

1993 onwards Candidate for National Assembly elec-

1994 onwards Founder member and Secretary-General of United Opposition on merger of Parti Seselwa and other opposition groups

1996 onwards Secretary-General of Seychelles National Party on transformation from United Opposition

2015 Vice-Presidential Nominee in Presidential election of 2010

2015 to date Founder Member and Party Leader of Linyon Demokratik Seselwa , formed from Opposition parties taking part in 2015 Presidential election

2020 Elected as Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles
